Media and Press Coverage – Protect The Heroes
The Major League Baseball Players Trust (MLBPT) announced their alignment with the Protect The Heroes campaign today, along with an immediate commitment of $150,000 to help support hospitals fighting COVID-19 across the United States.
The AHP and American Hospital Association raised more than $500,000 for hospitals in the past seven months through a campaign they launched in response to the pandemic.
The Creative Coalition, Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, and the AHA today launched the “Protect The Heroes” campaign, which allows the general public to make direct impact donations to America’s hospitals and health systems. Every dollar raised from Protect The Heroes goes directly to the donor’s choice of local hospital to purchase personal protective equipment and other support for their local health care workers to fight COVID-19.
Protect The Heroes Launches Direct Support to Local Hospitals and Frontline Healthcare Workers Across Nation in Fight Against COVID-19
April 7, 2020 (Washington, DC) — The Creative Coalition, Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, and the American Hospital Association have united to launch the “Protect The Heroes” campaign, which allows the general public to make direct impact donations to America’s hospitals.
